Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Francene had a deep-rooted understanding and appreciation for the ability both the natural world and the interior spaces we inhabit have in shaping who we are and how we behave.
She earned her BS of Interior Design at the University of Idaho before starting her career in commercial design, focusing on workplace and hospitality, before transitioning to residential design.
“My design process is mostly led by my curiosity of the human experience. How can design influence our feelings, behaviors and memories? Cultivating relationships with my clients is integral to creating spaces that seek to explore these questions, tell meaningful stories and form a framework for life.”
Through a deep understanding of materiality, Francene aims to craft spaces that evoke the senses- richly layered with texture, color and light. With a kinesthetic approach, she finds inspiration by making - whether it’s hand sketching, collage art, or film photography. She has an endless love for sushi, traveling, and her cat Miso.
